Hyde IBS receives ISO certification
Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions, a producer of industrial blades and knives, recently received ISO 9001:2015 standards certification by the International Organization for Standardization.
This certification recognized the company’s ability to meet or exceed the most current, world-class specifications for products, services and systems, to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
Following an audit by the organization across all departments including manufacturing, purchasing, quality control and inspection, logistics, sales, and customer service, Hyde IBS became one of the first industrial blade manufacturers to achieve the new standard. The company previously had been certified as an ISO 9001:2008 operation. ISO 9001 standards were first published in 1987.
“This designation underscores Hyde’s and its employees’ dedication to delivering the best products and services day-in and day-out,” stated Rob Scoble, president, The Hyde Group. “The certification also demonstrates our ability to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements while striving for constant improvements throughout the company.”
